A pleasant cozy crime novel that will delight people who enjoy murder mysteries of the golden age. There is some delightful humour woven into the relationships amongst the members of the musical society at the heart of this story. ( )
Very slight book. The action occurs over a short period of time. The motivation for the quite callous murder seems pretty insubstantial. There is a good deal of humor about the investigation and the events leading up to the murder. ( )
