My preschool class thinks this is the funniest book ever! They love that nobody is hurt because each animal gets swallowed whole, and they love when everyone is fine in the end. They love that each animal finds the singing annoying, then ends up singing themselves when they swallow the offending animal. And they especially love the catchy song, and sing it endlessly! ( )

This book would be great if it were a bit shorter. I skipped a lot of the words because I have a young crowd for storytime. It might be a good feltboard story idea to adapt. ( )
