This book is about a young girl and her bedtime conversation with her mom. Her and her mom together explore the globe and look at their family history and where they all came from. This explores the idea that a culture or a place will always have a part from you and your family even if you haven't been there.

This would be a great book for a primary age. The illustrations used in this book are very gorgeous, full of color, and bright colors showing the different places they are talking and learning about. This story was alwasy being told with love and patience between the mother-daughter talk.

I certainly enjoyed this little treasure of a telling of a family history. The conversation between mother and child was one, obviously, told time after time, but always told with love and patience. The color used in the illustrations are bright and eye-catching, depicting the joy of the story.

One of the most beautifully illustrated picture books I have seen in awhile.

A colorfully illustrated story that shares a little girl’s roots and all the places important to her. This is a very calming bedtime book. I enjoyed how the mom shared her ancestry with her daughter.
