Emily and Travis's love story starts out rather enjoyable in the beginning especially due to Emily's behaviour. Emily has been jilted and betrayed by her groom and sister. As such, she has determined that only frivolous and dishonest women like her sister Barbara are able to win men over. Thus, Emily is determined to discard her own practical nature and emulate her sister in pretending to be a helpless female. This of course both amuses and exasperates Travis. My only disappointment was that the rest of the Clayborne family only makes a short appearance at the start. After all, the best part of For the Roses was learning about the Clayborne's eccentricities. ( ) keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
