Yes, this book is about Robbins's addiction and subsequent sobriety, but moreover, it is about a mother who wants what's best for her children amidst a possibly contentious divorce. ( ) The author clearly was dealt a rough hand, and I appreciate her honesty in the memoir. But if the private jet trip to rehab isn't enough to roll your eyes out the back of your head, the moment when she complains about having to take a urinalysis test in a "ghetto" with her $2,000 handbag will probably do you in. I also found it a little strange that the author didn't include names that are obviously searchable, like that of her husband. She always just calls him "him", which makes the reading super awkward, particularly when she just finishes a sentence about her son and then pivots to talking about her husband without using his name. But, OK, as far as books go? An easy read that you may not want to put down. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
