He's here to train her horses, and then he's moving on. She's keeping her true identity a secret. But their spark complicates both of their plans.

When her mother's death leaves Charlotte Simpson bereft, she hopes the Robinson clan will accept her as one of their own and help fill the void. But a startling discovery dashes her hopes and leaves her wondering if she will ever know the father she's always longed for.

Horse trainer Gunner Dawson has experienced profound loss and intends to avoid it. So he lives on the move without forming close bonds or putting down roots. When Charlotte hires him to work with her horses and help expand her ranch, he commits to staying for a few months. But he doesn't count on getting caught up in Charlotte's search for her biological father. Or on falling in loveâ??with Riverbend Gap or with Charlotte. This time, he's not sure if he'll be able to move onâ??or if he even wants to.

I’ve said this comment dozens of times before, but I hate when the main girl has a boyfriend but fools around with another. I know that she didn’t let it last too long in this book, but it just gives an icky feeling. ( )

I’m always happy to read a new Denise Hunter book, and Wildflower Falls is a wonderful addition to her Riverbend series. I enjoyed returning to Riverbend Gap for some more small-town romance. Well-crafted and engaging characters populate this story, and an interesting and entertaining plot kept me invested in it. Ranch owner Charlotte Honeycutt hires horse trainer Gunner Dawson to temporarily help her with the ranch. Gunner prefers a drifter lifestyle and is averse to commitment. They work well together, and soon Gunner is helping Charlotte find her biological father. I enjoyed seeing their relationship change and grow. I recommend this book to those who enjoy small-town contemporary romance.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy through NetGalley. All opinions are my own. ( )

I enjoyed getting to know the siblings in the Riverbend series in the first three books. I thought the series had come to an end so was pleasantly surprised when I found out that there was going to be a fourth book. I do believe that this one was my favorite in the series. I liked Charlotte and Gunner and enjoyed seeing how their story played out as well as getting updates on the couples from the other books in the series. Having lived for a time in western North Carolina, I absolutely loved the setting of the book as well.

Each of the books in the series could be read as a standalone, but I would definitely recommend reading the entire series in order to get to know all the members of the family.

Thank you to Thomas Nelson and Netgalley for a copy of this book. All opinions expressed are entirely my own. ( )

Welcome back to Riverbend Gap, North Carolina! A small town with a big heart. What could be more romantic than a horse ranch in the mountains with a waterfall and fields of wildflowers?

This author never fails to bring a slow burn romance together with characters who struggle with deeper issues. I enjoyed this latest installment and felt for Charlotte as she worked so hard to keep her business going. She was put into a tough situation and tried so hard to please everyone. It would be hard to be in her shoes.

It seems to be a universal need we have to find out where or who we come from before we can move forward. The author does a good job bringing out the emotions involved without making it overly dramatic. The ending was sighworthy, and a lovely wrap up to the series. There is room for a Christmas novella though.

Recommend for fans of clean, contemporary romances. 4.5 stars

Wildflower Falls, by Denise Hunter, is the fourth book in the Riverbend Romance series. This is a wonderful and surprising conclusion to the series. This story takes over after the third book, so it is best to read this series in order to fully understand the characters. This author gives background information for the wonderful characters, so it can easily be read as a stand alone story as well. The relationship between Charlotte and her sister is very realistic. Gunner is a well known horse trainer that has signed on to work for Charlotte for a short time between jobs. He does so much to help with the horse farm and help her develop new programs to make the farm profitable. It is easy to see the struggles both felt when it was his time to move on.

Charlotte has never known her father, after her mother's death she find papers that makes her feel Mr. Robinson is her father. I enjoyed how she and Gunner worked together to find her real father. I especially enjoyed the connection between her and the Robinson family and how welcoming and helpful they were towards her.

I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of this book, this is my honest review. ( )
