The Circumference of Darkness is an enjoyable read, providing a second layer to the terrorist attacks on New York in 2001. Domestic militia are trying to create a bigger impact and - like the film Swordfish - they grab up a loner computer hacker legend and make him an offer he can't refuse. Henderson wraps in a lot of conspiracy-feeling topics, like national computer network monitoring, moles in government, and so on. He blends in facts about the 9/11 attacks to provide realistic context for his story. Not very believable in the end, but still fun to read. ( )
