On the other hand, this collection is pretty cool. It reminds me of Lord of the Rings, since the names are in a language that is foreign to me. The only difference is that Elvish and all those are made up while I am absolutely certain that there are people that speak Gaelic. Though I can't even say that, since Tolkien was a linguist, and did a moderately good job of developing Elvish and Dwarf languages. It has been a while since I read it though.
The myths are divided by the peoples that passed them down. So there are six major sections with a preface to start each one out. So there is Ireland, the Isle of Man, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, and Brittany. Most of the stories are about legendary kings and great warriors.
The only problem with this book is that it took a while to get through. I kept getting sidetracked with stuff from the Library. ( )
