The King of Spain had an itch and he found a louse which he requests kept and fed until it was as big as a horse but it died and the king had a guitar made from the louses body. Soon after he lets the kingdom know that if they can guess what the guitar is made of they can marry a princess of Spain. Nobody knows what it is until a peasant who help a beetle, grasshopper, and a lice get to Madrid. They help him in return and tell him what the guitar is made of. The peasant guesses right and goes home with a mule and sacks of gold, rubies, and pearls. This is a rather silly tale about not killing living creature no matter how big or small.
