I really enjoyed this book for many reasons. I enjoyed how it was written in poetry form because it made it more interesting to read. The writing was really engaging because it used many words that rhymed that made the story fun. One of the rhymes I liked was, “will he shoot form the left or shoot from the right? Which hand will he use tonight?” I really liked how the book told a story about Michael Jordan in this poetic tone. I obviously liked the characters in the book as well because Michael Jordan was who the story was about. The story of how hard he worked really matched up with Michaels real life story, which I thought, was great! The pictures also resembled Michael very well with him playing basketball and wearing his Bulls jersey. I think the main message of this book is not to give up on your dream. It shows a great role model for kids, Michael Jordan and how he never gave up and what can happen if you follow your dreams. ( )
