I feel as if this book would be great for first grade to teach them about stranger danger.A teacher can read this to their students and then teach them about stranger danger and how to handle those situations in real life. This book should be read aloud to students so students can ask questions about this type of situation.

This would be a good book for all ages, but I would mainly select it for a class of kindergartners. The rich illustrations and strong story line make this a favorite book for children of this age group. I would use this book in all ages groups, because it would be a great book to spur imaginations and to inspire students to recreate their own versions. You can also use it to teach retelling and sequencing. ( )
