Having read the majority of F. Scott Fitzgerald's work, I think I can say that I only like The Great Gatsby. He takes his fiction in the complete opposite direction it should go. I will hold onto this collection of stories and try some other ones later in life, but I have to close the book on him for now. ( ) The only other Fitzgerald I've read is The Great Gatsby. This novella is totally different and not at all what I would have expected from the author. It was really quite funny and a pleasure to read. I'm sure there's a moral to the story in there somewhere as there always is. Perhaps that that adage "if I knew then, what I know now" is hogwash since Button did, in a sense, Know Then yet he lived an ordinary life (as much as one can that ages in reverse) filled with the same mistakes and triumphs as someone born in the usual way. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

(Verlagstext) (Oke Simons) Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
