Well worth the read. ( ) Trudeau continues his trilogy on the closing campaigns of the American with his account of the siege of Petersburg. In fine narrative style Trudeau details Grants efforts to capture this crucial city by storm, and failing this the extension of the siege lines to cut crucial railroads, and stretch Lee's overextended forces ever further.
