Upon looking at the cover of Emma Bean, it can be assumed that this story will be about a little girl and her favorite stuffed animal. To my surprise, the story is written from the perspective of the bunny, Emma Bean! I loved the flipped perspective and think it really adds to the sweetness and innocence of this picture book. Although it is told from the perspective of a stuffed animal, the events in the story are very realistic. Emma Bean is a great story for those who are starting elementary school or parting with their old toys.

This is a beautiful book ... a sweet tender story about a little girl and her toy bunny. (It is much better than I make it sound.) The illustrations are amazing and work magic with the words to create a book to treasure. I loved it from the moment I discovered it.
