This is a great interactive book for a classroom setting with group participation. The color illustrations are engaging and encourage problem solving skills, reading comprehension, and memory strength. I think this would be a great lap book for one on one. I would recommend this for any collection wanting a new take on an old classic. ( )

"Maybe A Bear Ate It!" is a short story about a cat who loses his book and panics about all the different places it could be. It is a book intended for very young audiences. The illustrations are colorful and humorous. This book could be used in a classroom to introduce students to different kinds of animals, such as bears, sharks, and elephants. It also could be used to teach students that what you lost is probably pretty close to where you are.
