The plot was cute, the characters were likable, and the illustrations enhanced the story. The plot simply focused around a young girl doing Christmas activities with her puppy, Biscuit. It is a super fun plot for young readers and they can follow the girl and her pet through activities that they might be doing themselves. It was very fun to lift the flaps and see what silly things the characters are getting into next. I particularly liked when Biscuit and his owner were wrapping gifts and Biscuit got into the wrapping paper. The characters, while very simple, were very lovable. Biscuit is an adorable puppy with a silly personality and his owner is a humorous, young girl. These characters are not very well developed but the reader learns to laugh with the characters and relate to them. More importantly, the illustrations really enhanced the story. The pictures always told a story that the words weren't telling; Biscuit getting into the Christmas ornaments or Biscuit playing tug-of-war with a stocking. They were adorable and simple and made me love the story ten times more. The main idea of this story was to tell a story about the simple, enjoyable Christmas activities that families may participate in around the holidays. Biscuit's Christmas Eve was an adorable story that I really enjoyed and think young readers would love. ( ) keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
