Interesting read, didn't quite understand the point of it. When you get to the end, it says to start again. I like that the reading is repetitive with easy words. I think it is great that she wants to do something, then she goes and does it. Almost like achieving every little goal or dream that she had.

this book was about a little girl who wanted to try new things. if she could not do it her self her family would help her. they were very suportive of her. my children loved this book

Lucky Song is about is about a little girl named Evie. What ever she wanted her family does or gives her. One morning she wanted to do something so she got dressed, then she want to play with something new so her grandpa made her a kite, her mom watched her fly the kite, her sister wrapped her in her blanket, grandma made her dinner, and her dad sang her a song.

This book is about a little girl that when she wanted to try something new she just tried it. Her family was supportive and at the end of the story her dad sang her a song.

I had mixed feelings about this book after reading it. First, I liked how the illustrations were very detailed and fell into sync with the text. The illustrator did a good job with facial expression and showing actions that the story portrayed. For example, when the story says “She wanted something new to wear, and on the hook she found it,” the first illustration shows Evie very sad because she had nothing to wear. The second page shows Evie very happy because she found a hat on the hook of the shelf that she could wear. However, I didn’t like the book because the plot of the story was very vague. The book was about a girl named Evie and she did not develop a large conflict throughout the story. The plot basically went based on Evie getting everything she wanted and getting help if something was not right for her. I think that the story could have been a little more detailed, in addition to giving Evie a big problem that she had to overcome. The big idea of this story is that if you want something, you can get it with a little help. This help can come from yourself, your family, or your friends. Also, the message could be that there is always an answer or a solution to any problems that you are facing. ( )
