Keine aktuelle Diskussion zu diesem Buch. see http://www.sfsite.com/09b/kt89.htm ( ) I once read a book by Frank Tallis (who has a background in psychoanalysis or something like that) called 'How to stop worrying'. This book was my first and only attempt at his fictional work. It follows a hard-up musician who decides to participate in a drugs trial for the money. This lands him in hospital with some odd side effects. It was well written, the sections about the character's band and their attempts to get a record deal were entertaining. The drugs storyline took unexpected turns, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the end was a bit disappointing. In general, I was not encouraged to move onto his other books. (He didn't manage to stop me worrying either) Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
The drug Naloxyl is Nick's only reliable source of income. He isn't making ends meet gigging in pubs in Essex so he's volunteered for a drug trial. But he's beginning to suspect it's giving him side-effects. Not least of which is the ability to recall other people's memories. But should he reveal this to his trial doctor, or is he just paranoid? And all this at a time when he really doesn't need the hassle. His friend Eric, former 70s rock star turned eco-warrior, has invited himself to stay. His relationship with older woman Cairo is swinging in and out of focus; and a Swedish producer wants to hear his band perform but the only gig they can fix is at a dodgy S & M club in Kings Cross...
