The Zombie Nite Cafe is another picture-book in verse that has been well-loved in our house. The thing that makes this book most special, however, is that it's a rhyming picture book that appeals to 3rd and 4th grade boys! Cute, funny, and perfect for kids who are into zombies! ( )

This is a good book for any kids who are interested in supernatural creatures. The illustrations are well done of the monsters and they are not too scary for very young kids. It describes all the types of scary creatures, but there is not much of a story line to follow, nor a moral to the story. I would probably not use this in a classroom, but it could be a fun bedtime story. ( )
