This book is super funny about a knight who tries to save the day but is always farting. It's great! ( ) Prince Harry (of the kingdom of Armpit) loves to prank his subjects. His father, King Reginald, is sick of Harry’s trouble making ways, and sends him off on an adventure with the brave and noble Sir Fartsalot. Harry plays his biggest prank when he tells Sir Fartsalot of a feared monster called: The Booger! “‘I see,’ Sir Fartsalot mused. ‘And where might one find one of these Boogers?’” “’Oh, you never know,’ Harry said. ‘Sometimes they can be right under your nose. So to speak.’” (p. 29) But, Harry learns some lessons during his journey with Sir Fartsalot. And in the end the ultimate price for his prank ends up being a lot higher than even he could anticipate. Sir Fartsalot Hunts the Booger is extremely funny. The author, Kevin Bolger, is witty with his choice of names and places. This book seems to come straight out of the imagination of an 8 year old boy. A teacher could read this book to a captivated audience (and the only noises would be the bursts of laughter every five minutes); a parent could read this to his or her child, and the lessons that this book teaches would be subtle yet substantial. Sir Fartsalot is a funny, magical tale for all ages. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
