I came upon it while killing time at a library. I read it in bits and spurts over 5 days whilst being regularly interrupted. As part of a "big Fish" defection a child of an army intelligence officer is kidnapped and treated harshly. After a plausible and exciting story line the evil doers and traitors are bought to a well deserved end. If I'd have read this as my first Clive Egleton novel I would certainly read any others I could locate. ( ) keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
Major John Tarrant works for the British Military Intelligence handling information filtered in from Russia and the Warsaw Pact countries. His life is peaceful until a Russian agent known as Drabble kidnaps his son and demands a ransom of 500,000 in uncut diamonds. Tarrant has seven days to come up with the ransom and less time to realize that his greatest enemy is not Drabble, it is a traitor of the highest rank in the British military Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
