Wow! This book was creepy and suspenseful. This is the first time I’ve read this book and it kept me enthralled from beginning to end. I couldn’t figure out who the bad guy was until the end.

One week after she starts her summer job on Fear Street, Mayra Barnes begins to sleepwalk.

The title which is "The Sleepwalker" relates to the story because the girl on the front page actually does sleepwalks and from the picture of her at night in water also relates to the story because one day her boyfriend was driving and she was in it. So they were driving until BAM! They smashed into a car and in that car there was 2 mens and one of them died. But because that girl wanted to call the cop but her boyfriend took her in and ran away.So her boyfriend hypnotized her thinking that nothing happend in that car crashed. So everytime she sleeps she sleepwalks into the lake that the men died in.


Before reading this book (but reading like 1 or 2 chapters) I thought that Mrs. Cottler who Mayra was working for was a witch and her cat who's name is Hazel is actually a human but she got transformed into a cat by Mrs.Cottler. And Mrs.Cottler was a real bad person and caused Mayra to sleepwalk. ( )

Possible Spoiler Alert:

I did guess that it was really Walker hypnotizing her (although that story with the hit and run was just a little too crazy). I know Stine likes weird names, but seriously- Link? What I did really like about this one was the paranormal cat- that was one of the better things in this series. ( )
