I saw another reviewer say that kids will like this, but adults won't. I'm happy to say that she's wrong...I loved the simplicity of this, and the way that Frazee depicted friendship and childhood. ( )

This book is about some friends on their adventures with their grandparents. This book could used in a classroom to show different adventures you can go on.

I honestly couldn't find a reason for the story to exist... let alone be published. If anyone does, let me know. It was almost as if it was speaking a language I didn't know. ( )

Marla Frazee brings us the delightful story of two best friends, Eamon and James, having the best summer ever together. While staying with Eamon's grandparents, antics abound as nature camp, video games, chess, sleep overs will all the stuffed animals, and rock painting keep the boys engaged.

This is a good book for early readers to explore the connections between the text and the illustrations. The story line is relatable and has a few predicable qualities to them. It's an easy read aloud book for kids to get quickly engaged, as well. ( )
