The queen's world is under attack. There is not much pictures in this book. As a big star wars fan I really enjoyed this book. ( ) This book is a science fiction book that is written as a journal. The main character is fourteen year old Queen Amidala, who is forced to disguise herself as a servant to the Queen. This comes about after her palace in Naboo is invaded by the Federation. The positive characteristic of this book is that the main character is a teen that happens to be very clever and is a ruler of a nation. I thought the premise for this character is inspiring; most young females do not get to rule nations. However, the story is sometimes boring in that it involves a lot of politics and sublime mental games and strategies. Furthermore, Queen Amildala seems to be hiding her true self behind her dignified role as queen or disguising herself pretending to be a servant. The author also creates many creative animals, characters, and robots. Science fiction requires the reader to use his imagination in order to sustain all the imaginary characters and futuristic fantasies in the plot. Although it is filled with action, a lot of the dialogue is internal since it is a journal. This book can be used for a middle school student who is having difficulty reading, since it contains many high frequency words. Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
