I have always admired Richard Chamberlain as an actor and after reading his memoirs, I find I admire him as a man as well. He came across as charming, introspective, intelligent, and someone who I would love to meet but would find myself utterly tongue-tied around. One thing I did find annoying was his tendency to jump around chronologically and to not provide dates so there was no real concept of what was happening when. Since his memoirs were less of an autobiography than an philosophical discussion that was based on his life experiences, it wasn't that big of a problem in the greater scheme of things, though. ( )

I thought Shattered Love was wroth the read, but the last few chapters could have been removed. ( )
