From the extensive archives of Britain's Imperial War Museum comes this thoroughly researched book on the Great War.
The book is arranged in a series of sections covering virtually every aspect of the war (no small task for such a reasonably compact book) from the more familiar ones such as the war on the Western Front, the War Economy, the Allied Campaigns in the 'sideshows' of the Dardanelles, Northern Italy's border with Austria to perhaps lesser well known features of the war such as the role of Women, the advances of medicine during - and in large part thanks to - the war.
