This book draws perceptively from the depth of Emerson's journals to show the inner vision that drew him to his revolutionary position as America's great Seer. We see him awakening to a vision of One Mind as the whole of reality, yet instinctively avoiding the egotism that plagues New Age versions of "honouring the God within".
