When the method of communicating immediately with your loved one in an emergency situation is to use a beeper I have to say hmmm... The basic prinicples and advice, though, are very good overall. I wouldn't recommend this as your only pregnancy book, but as an additional book it's fine. ( ) I was looking for a pregnancy book that gives a good overview without being too medicalized, and this one's pretty good. The author is pretty balanced on information about medical versus natural births, breastfeeding, and so on. I'm probably going to purchase this one so I can have it on hand for reference. Diese Rezension wurde vom Autor verfasst. I just wanted to point out that there are both Canadian editions and American editions of this book. (It's a bit confusing because reader reviews for this book seem to link up to all editions of this book, whether they refer to the Canadian edition or the American edition. Anyway, if you want the Canadian edition, look for the book with the Canadian flag on the cover. If you want the American edition, look for the baby with the teddy bear. Hope this helps.
