Poorly written. Points of view jump around from one paragraph to the next with no indication to the reader that it has changed. Her characters spend a lot of time dithering about how "science has proved that dragons don't exist." If a conversation pauses for "a femtosecond," that's enough for another character to notice. She seems to have a fascination with femtoseconds, which, if you aren't familiar with them, are equal to 0.000000000000001 seconds.

I honestly thought it was the publisher taking a chance on a brand new author, until I noticed she had published quite a few books before this one. ( )
