Adored by humans, reviled by their fellow mutants, X-Force does the dirty jobs that others can't, or won't. All they want in return is fame, money, sex, power and lucrative endorsement deals.

I had never really heard of this version of X-Force before. It was definitely interesting to see an x-team that wasn't as altruistic as the others I have read. The team is followed around by cameras and they become celebrities. The celebrity of the team feels almost over the top (as it's supposed to). Team members die and are replaced every few pages. Even though this is volume 1 I definitely think that it felt like it was starting in the middle of the story. Beyond that it's interesting satire and you could see that the story was going somewhere and some of the characters were becoming more developed. I'll have to try and find other volumes. ( )

I love everything Marvel. The storylines are incredible! They have everything you could want: action, adventure, comedy, romance, political intrigue, allegories, metaphors, etc. Some stories drag, some end too soon. ( )
