In this book, there're five stories about the murder plans.Of course criminals are clever, but sometimes they make bad mistakes. Some of these stories are really mysterious though, there're stupid things as well.I enjoyed almost all,but I couldn't enjoy the first one, because it was too simple.I wanted to read more tricky and mysterious story.I think this is a good book though. This book has five stories. All the story is very interesting, but I love the second story "The Man Who Cut Off My Hair",especially. This story is suspens. One day a deaf girl who can mouse reading see theives at a train. She understans the theif's talk ,which theives will rob the money at her near the house next,She try to prevent the theives's purpose. But she is found by theives, and catched. And she is cut the her precious hair.she is angry, try to catch theives again with detectator. This story's pictuer is also interesting.Especially,The scene that her hair is cut is my favorite. This book contains five short crime stories. The first is about a woman and her lover who plan to murder the woman's rich husband. The second is about a young girl who discovers a burglary. The third is about a man who plans to murder another man and make it look like an accident. The fourth is about a famous thief, a famous detective and simple priest, who is much more clever than he seems. The last story is about a man who hires another man to murder his wife. I liked the first and last stories the most - both are surprising and interesting. They are also quite dark, and I enjoy dark stories - I like imagining how the people feel. But I was diappointed with the other three stories. They were too simple and predictable, and there was nothing that surprised me about them. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

The murder plan seems so neat, so clever. How can it possibly fail? And when Sonia's stupid, boring little husband is dead, she will be free to marry her handsome lover. But, perhaps the boring little husband is not so stupid after all. These five stories from the golden age of crime writing feature mystery and surprises. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
