This book has 5 short stories. I would like to write about the first one, which called As the Inspector Said.
Charles Darrell and Sonia French was decided to murder Sonia's husband.they were in love for 6 months. but her husband didn't allow to divorce. Surprisingly, the the police man gave the advice for the murder and then......

I thought "love" is very scary thing because it sometimes goes to bad way. but I had fun with this story.
Each stories were quite very short. I think it is easy to reading. ( )

In this book, there're five stories about the murder plans.Of course criminals are clever, but sometimes they make bad mistakes. Some of these stories are really mysterious though, there're stupid things as well.I enjoyed almost all,but I couldn't enjoy the first one, because it was too simple.I wanted to read more tricky and mysterious story.I think this is a good book though. This book contains five short crime stories. The first is about a woman and her lover who plan to murder the woman's rich husband. The second is about a young girl who discovers a burglary. The third is about a man who plans to murder another man and make it look like an accident. The fourth is about a famous thief, a famous detective and simple priest, who is much more clever than he seems. The last story is about a man who hires another man to murder his wife.
I liked the first and last stories the most - both are surprising and interesting. They are also quite dark, and I enjoy dark stories - I like imagining how the people feel. But I was diappointed with the other three stories. They were too simple and predictable, and there was nothing that surprised me about them. ( )

I think these characters are stupid. But that makes these stories interesting. And how neat the plan seems, there is likelihood that it will fail. We don’t know what may happen. So, I think, we must be careful.
