I liked this book about Lamby Lamb because it shows the results of using reverse psychology. The narrator of the book tells Lamby Lamb to get ready. The book tells Lamby not to get dressed, and lists the clothing items "Not" to put on. Lamby does it anyway and gets ready. The narrator says that he hopes Lamby Lamb is Not ready, but I am most certain he is happy that he his. The art is simplistic, but nice. The book is a very simple picture book for anyone. ( ) This book is not a book that I enjoyed and I would not use it in my classroom. I don't think this book had a purpose at all. I didn't understand why the book read for the lamb not to be ready. I do think the facial expressions say a lot about the story and I do like how the author was playful and silly. Perhaps smaller children would appreciate this book more than me. Many times, children do not want to do what they are told. Chris Raschka, the author and illustrator of this book, knows this fact and wrote this work accordingly. Lamby Lamb does not want to get dressed. Therefore, Lamby Lamb is instructed not to get dressed, not to put on his shirt, not to put on his pants, not to put on his shoes, etc. This book uses prediction, as well as reverse psychology to teach, which is clever when teaching younger children, such as Preschool or sooner. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
