Another chronological Bible divided into daily readings, and with sidebars and additional helps. This copy is NLT; I don't know if they produce it in other versions.

The 24/7 Bible is divided into 365 daily readings that take you through the Bible chronologically, or as the slipcover describes it, "you can read the continuous narrative of the Bible." For example, when you read about some of the events in David's life 24/7 will include any Psalms that David wrote during that period. In Genesis you will read about Noah's descendants and right after that you will read the same genealogy from Chronicles.

The Bible is small, approximately 5" (width), 6.5" (lenght), 1.6" (thick). The text is single column and the font is a reasonable size and is comfortable for my almost 44 year old eyes to read. There is an outer margin that is large enough to write notes. The inner column (or gutter) is not too bad although I would prefer it to be a little wider.

All in all, Tyndale House did a great job with this Bible. The size is perfect for taking anywhere (in a bag or putting it in a desk drawer at work) and the text is readable. The included slipcover should help protect the softcover. ( )
