( ) The author has no trouble telling it like it is and that's exactly what she does in this book. While a lot of people might not like her abrasive style, they would be hard pressed to argue her points. She makes lots of claims but backs them up with plenty of facts - some of which will simply astonish you if you aren't already aware... Heck, if you are aware. Definitely worth the read. Again, I agree with Ann Coulter almost all the time. And, hell, I think she's funny, though she can be a smidge mean-spirited at times. And most liberals can't take a joke. And she's brilliant, and one heck of a researcher, especially with ol' Lexis-Nexis. She makes a good point that liberals like to play the victim,a point which she proves endlessly. And she compares, as most conservative commentators do, how conservatives and liberals are treated differently by the media. A: "Ms. Palin, how do you see the Bush Doctrine?" B: "So when you got the nomination, Senator Obama, you must have been thinking of your parents? Right?" Really? And Coulter has received most of the vitriol from the media on her one chapter on "single mothers." But, most of those people did not read the book, much less the chapter. She makes a good point. Namely: single mothers "are not only 'unsung heroines,' as the title of a recent book puts it, they are perennial victims - the unwitting victims of sex with men they're not married to." Which is true? Sure, a man is involved, but when women "won" the "right" to have sex before marriage with anyone they pleased, they also won the responsibilities that go with it, namely: to not get pregnant. So why do they complain? But, read the book and find out. If you can find it cheaply, get it. Zeige 5 von 5 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
