The content describes the different kinds of crabs and what they do. The theme is crab life. The reading level is probably first or second grade because the sentences are short and the words are not very difficult. The curricular connections could be the ocean, animals in the ocea, specifically crabs, different habitats and protection. This book would be good for the students to read and research crabs because the words are not hard and very informative. It would be fun to read this during a study of the ocean. ( )
