Not too much mystery as Frank and Joe spend most of their time with a group of other teens working on restoring a structure in the south of France. There is a small mystery of buried treasure in a castle next door. But not much happens toward solving it. Random dumb luck provides the answer to the missing loot. And despite all the suspects that could be involved I figured out who the real culprit was fairly early. On a brighter note, anyone reading this mystery who has a cultural French background will enjoy the phrases, settings and landmarks that pop up throughout the book. ( ) Frank and Joe are urged by their father to attend a tenn program while their father attends a conference on illegal diamond tranpsortation. Joe is excited but Frank wishes that he was at the conference.
