SYNOPSIS
She was left to raise her children on the large acre farm. This story is about a woman who worked hard and went on to see her children succeed and some to college.

WHAT I LIKED: Her reaction to losing her money. And, Lest We Forget and many have. Always a historical reminder

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: Some parts of the book were a little slow in the pace of events. ( )

I really enjoyed this gem of a book. It is a story of a wonderfully, strong woman Mae Lee. With all the hoopla over "The Help" this is another take on the lives of whites and blacks living together in small communities. This is a feel good book and an easy read. I am looking forward to reading her 1st book "Clover" and hope Dori will bless us with another book soon. ( )
