A magician consumed by work, a missing assistant and Ned patiently trying to get a date, these are all the things Nancy has to deal with. It's an interesting story and very much in the spirit of the Nancy Drew stories. ( )

Nancy doesn’t like magic, but decides to attend anyway. When Dan ends his show with making his assistant disappear, the audience is stunned when he doesn’t make her REAPPEAR! Not one to run from a mystery, Nancy is on the case to learn about the magician’s tricks in order to find the missing assistant. When she doesn’t show for his next show, Nancy agrees to be his new assistant. ( )
