Hikaru and Kaoru deal with the fact that they are growing into different people. It was a good story line but Kyoya's was better. Kyoya and Tamaki have a very odd relationship but they are friends. So Kyoya wants to find Tamaki's mother and see if she is alright. He is doing this without telling anyone else because he is Kyoya. When he gets back to Japan and tells everyone about this woman he met, it was very touching. Haruhi pushes herself forward to ask about her health as Tamaki could not speak. Hearing that his mother was fine made him speechless for a few frames. This is really heartwarming for a series with so much humor. I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I love Ouran so much. And there's so much plot progression in this volume, it just makes me so happy. Kaoru and Hikaru are beautiful and awesome, even if they're kind of idiots too. Tamaki is my absolute favorite. And Kyoya is brilliant. And Tamaki's mom is gorgeous. And Haruhi is SO CUTE WHEN SHE'S EMBARRASSED. I love Ouran. It has been a while since I last visited the OHSHC universe but it was easy to pick up the thread of the story as Hikaru and Kaoru work through their respective crushes on Haruhi and how it will affect their relationship with each other. I really liked the way it all worked out. However, I have to say Tamaki surely stole the bulk of the manga, which was longer than most, as he winds up some of his more personal epiphanies when it comes to family and future. He's such a lunatic sweetie LOL! Kyoya also shows a much more caring side as he exhausts himself searching the French countryside for news of Tamaki's mother. There are a couple drawings that I really enjoyed in this volume. The first is the one of Tamaki and Kyoya in the title page for Episode 53, I like Tamaki's little sign that says "We're waiting for our turn onstage" after the twin intensive preceding story. I also love the two panels that, for me, represent a metamorphosis of how Haruhi sees Tamaki. These come after Tamaki splashes very hot rice porridge on himself and has to change clothes. He catches Haruhi's hand and you can see from both of their expressions how much they care about each other *sigh* muy romantic This was a nice length volume where we get to see lots of changes for the majority of our main characters. The only drawback is Hunny and Mori getting regulated to back-up support, but I suspect they'll be getting another turn in the spotlight in the future. This is a great romantic comedy which mixes in just enough drama and angst to really keep you interested. Still highly recommended and lots of fun! keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

"In this screwball romantic comedy, Haruhi, a poor girl at a rich kids' school, is forced to repay an $80,000 debt by working for the school's swankiest, all-male club--as a boy! There she discovers just how wealthy the six members are and how different the rich are from everybody else ... Hikaru and Kaoru's fight over Haruhi is taking its toll on Hunny and Mori, who are trying to watch over the estranged twins. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Tamaki, Kyoya starts looking for Tamaki's mother in France."--Page 4 of cover. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
