Life for many Christians is like trying to fill a leaking vessel. They attend church, read their Bible, or perhaps they receive prayer and experience a healing. In those moments their heart is filled with the presence of God, but then, within a few days or weeks, they once again feel empty and sick. Whatever they received seems to have gradually leaked out. Andrew Wommack, seen nationwide on his television broadcast, The Gospel Truth, shares with readers that their life does not have to be a roller coaster of Christian highs and lows. God's desire is that His children move consistently from one level of relationship with Him to the next-never having to feel abandoned and alone. Readers will be encouraged and challenged by Andrew's remarkable teaching from Romans 1: 21 showing four essentials to staying close to God: glorify God, be thankful, recognize the power of your imagination, and have a good heart. Readers will begin to understand that the reason they feel far away from God, Who is always stable and consistent, is because they have either consciously or unconsciously moved away from Him. He is a gentleman and will not violate their free will. But, if they will draw near to God in those four vital areas, their relationship with God will begin and continue to flourish.… (mehr)
