Caroline "Caro" must marry before her 25th birthday or her home will be lost to to her brother George and his wife, but the 300 yr old ghost of Fallingatebut scares of her suitors. Caro is devestated and enlist the help of her Uncle Teddy who travels to find her someone and fast. He decides to visit the jail and finds a common horse thief Lucas Davin. There is much more to Lucas then we know, the potion that the Dr. has him drink and the mysterious flashbacks he has of his childhood.
