A great collection of classic stories. ( )

I picked this up cheap at Barnes & Noble, and it turned out to be a great buy. There are several short stories, several of them not well known, by American writers. I feel like I discovered authors all over again. I only knew Hawthorne from the Scarlet Letter in school, but I found that his short stories are much better. And I rediscovered one of my favorite authors, F. Scott Fitzgerald, all over again. ( )
