My husband is in the military so this kind of book is my absolute favorite to read when he's gone. Sexy and a little sinful, this story kept me glued to every page until the end. I finished it in a single day without putting it down once! The hero is a studly parajumper who has advanced farther in his career than any other military personell his age and refuses to put anything else above his career. The heroine is a saucy, independent photographer who happens to be the daughter of a very decorated general. The plot consists of the two falling in love after falling in bed and confronting the desire to be together while firmly maintining their own beliefs in their single lifestyles not wanting to rely on anyone for anything. It's a very fun read with a very insightful prospective of the military stucture. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Something about LaBrecque's writing style bothers me. Not enough to kill the story for me, but enough to pull me out several times. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is. Part of it is an overuse of certain phrases.
I liked the heroine. She was an independent woman who really wasn't looking for a man to complete her life. Those are few and far between in category romance. I also liked the hero. The story was short and spicy. I enjoyed it. ( )
