This is the 24th year of this yearbook with details of over 450 county cricketeres who either played first team cricket in 2002 or are contracted to the counties for 2003. The entries contain personal details provided by the players themselves plus their own opinions on the game and how it is managed. There are also individual playing records for the 2003 season and for their full career in first-class and one-day cricket. This year's additional question asks players to detail any particular cricketing superstition that they may have. The quiz focuses on the contribution and perfomances of international players since they were first introduced into county cricket - especially relevant at a time when many home-grown players - and cricket followers - are unhappy with the large number of international players and European passport players filling county squads.
