Plop! Plop!" What could the noises be? The brave little mouse continues on his night out only to discover that maybe it's fun to be just a little scared after all.

Eek, squeak! Mouse is frightened by sights and sounds that turn out to be perfectly innocuous - "not so scary after all!" Illustrations look like pastel on paper. Good intro-to-Halloween book. ( )

A fantastic "scary book" for Kindergarten and First Grade.

A cute mouse encounters some spooky sights on Halloween night, which all turn out to be common things. The pictures are rich in color but amateurish. The text is repetitive, and falls flat after the third time. Littles ones will love it, though. ( )
