Weezer changes the world when one day he becomes a dog that can help with homework, make predictions, help the poor, and cures diseases. He was just an ordinary dog before all this; then the people of the world got used to this wonderful dog and loved it. Once the dog was overthis "spell" and went back to normal, the people did not knw what to do.
He changed the people in the world.

I wanted to love this book; perhaps I read it at the wrong time (after school in a public library). I love the message - it only takes one "person" to change he world - but the book simply did not move me. I will share it! I will recommend it! I will even read it again! And who knows, perhaps it will change me to rewrite my review! ( )

Weezer was an ordinary dog. He did everything normal dogs do. Until one day something happened to him that changed everything. He was able to help with homework, predicting weather, help the poor, find cures to diseases, and so much more. But then something terrible happened! Poor Weezer was found lying in the road. Doctors came in to help him. The word got out of what happened to poor Weezer. Everybody promised to continue the good doings of Weezer. In the end Weezer started to become better and was an ordinary dog again. Weezer changed the people of the world. ( )

Summary: There once was a dog named Weezer and he was an ordinary dog until lightning stuck him. It was then that he began to change the world. He started with a person, then helped a class, then helped a town and finally the world. After he found cures for diseases, and created world peace he was struck by lightning again and went back to being a regular dog, but the world was forever changed.

Genre: This story is a fantasy because dogs cannot talk. They cannot teach a class on the laws of gravity. They cannot interior decorate, and they cannot find cures for diseases. It is all make believe, but what fun make believe it is indeed.

Theme: I believe the theme of this story is that we all can change the world with our own lighting strikes. Whatever it is we are passionate about, if we take those and work with them and those in our community, we too can change the world little by little.

Media: Ink and watercolor. ( )
