This book is well written and the characters are very likeable, but very, very ridiculous. And it's cheesy. Absolutely, incredibly cheesy. ( ) Adrian Monk and Natalie are sent to the little California town of Trouble, to investigate the murder of a watchman at the Gold Rush Museum. Along the way, we are introduced to an obvious ancestor of Monk who lived in Trouble during the gold rush days, and shared many attributes with our Mr. Monk. The murder mystery itself is fairly routine, but the back-and-forth between the current Monk and his ancestor allows some interesting insights into a fascinating character, and makes for a surprisingly touching conclusion. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
