This was an interesting sorry arc conceptually, but not that great in execution. Still, while the plot lacked, the dialogue was clever at times. ( )

DC Comics gets itself all twisty and turn-y more and more. Every year it's some gigantic crossover with heroes, worlds, etc. Or, that's how it seems at least when one is reading only the Trade Paperback collections of the comic issues. This TPB collection is more explanation about one of the combining of 'earths', why it works and how it works.

I do like the art. Sometimes the comic artists will go too far towards trying to look arty and other times they will look too comic-y. Ed Benes et al do a good job of balancing the two. ( )
