Religion, politics, history, morals, philosophy, science, individual psychology, group psychology, logic, sentiment, thought, art - in a word the whole complex of relations between the individual and the group to which he belongs, the whole problem of the relations of the human mind to the society in which it is laced, the whole question of the relation of the ideal and the practical, are dealt with in this work in a manner that is altogether novel, and conclusions are reached that challenge all faiths, convictions, beliefs, and force the reader to a new orientation of his whole intellectual life.
