One day a mobile phone falls out of the sky and the five rare breed sheep on Eppingham Farm see it as a sign their Sheep God is in danger. They must go north to save him They are pursued by two men in a yellow car and also their owners who want them back...then there is the guy who thinks they've been abducted by aliens. This is a crazy, funny quest story of a different kind. P6 Both Main character is a sheep This is a strange book based on the lives of a small flock of rare bread sheep. They go on a quest to save the world from evil and by their tale of it they do. During the course of this quest they do some quite amasing things (by sheep standard). This is billed as a comidy but it is quite subtle, not much of the fart and bottom humor that much of the comedy book aimed at this age range seem to prefer, in my opinion better for that, but then I am not a P6 Zeige 4 von 4 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

HTML: All is quiet on Eppingham Farm. The sheep that live there chew cude and cauliflower. Sometimes they butt fenceposts-until one day a silvery object falls on their heads. Sal, the Southdown Ewe, knows their great Sheep God must be in danger. 'Only we can save him!' she cries. And so the Quest of the Warrior Sheep begins. But who are the men in the yellow car and why are they following? The Warriors will need to hold on to their fleeces! .Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |

I read a review of this (very) funny, quirky and utterly enjoyable (children's) book and, Ohmygrass!, it immediately jumped straight to my "must-read" list! If you love British humor, enjoy laugh-out-loud moments (lots of 'em!) and fast-paced adventure .. this is a book for you!
Highly recommended! ( )
